Layer 0 - ‘Prelude to Foundation’
The dimensions in this layer might be construed as more personal than business focused, so we advocate this is used where people are comfortable to explore their personal principles, values, purpose and personality preferences. These dimensions can be completely omitted in more formal business contexts and you can still develop your impact effectively. As you might expect, however, working on your understanding of these aspects can have a significant impact on performance and these relate and underpin a lot of the learning you will gain from the other levels, so we advocate exploring any of these that you are comfortable doing so.
Models (0-1)
The Models dimension covers the core cognition models you use, consciously or unconsciously, and how you practically implement, create and extend these models.
Principles (0-2)
The Principles dimension encompasses the core principles and values you live by, use to evaluate situations and make decisions.
Personality (0-3)
The Personality dimension explores your personality styles and preferences, how to raise awareness of your own and other people’s preferences, and increases your adaptability to work with people with different preferences more effectively.
Purpose (0-4)
The Purpose dimension helps to develop your understanding of what gives you significant sense of accomplishment, your sense of purpose, and how aligned you are to this purpose.
